SPONSOR/EXHIBITOR INFORMATION
On June 8-11, 2008, South Carolina will host the annual meeting of the Southern Group of State Foresters at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in downtown Columbia. Leaders of the state forestry agencies in all 13 southern states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands will be attending this important 4 day meeting to identify and discuss national forestry issues and develop regional strategies to ensure the health and viability of our valuable forest resources.
The last time South Carolina hosted this meeting was 1994, and it will be at least 14 years until we host it again. Needless to say, we wish to make the other State Foresters and their staffs feel welcome and to make sure their visit to our state is memorable.
To help us do this, I am asking you to consider helping us as a sponsor or exhibitor at the meeting. We would very much appreciate and would fully recognize a full or partial sponsorship of one of the group functions we have planned, or we will gratefully accept any contribution you would like to make in this regard. Contributing partners will be invited to one of the luncheons held during the meeting so we can recognize the broad participation and support of South Carolina’s forestry community.
I have enclosed a form you can use to confirm your pledge of support for the 2008 Southern Group of State Foresters meeting. Please consider this our request for your help in making this meeting a success. EXHIBITORS
$600 fee includes 1 exhibit space, 1 table, 2 chairs, and registration for one representative. Registration is $200 for additional representatives. Exhibitors will be recognized in the final program, will be included on sponsor signs, will receive public recognition during the meeting and will be invited to send two people to the partnership luncheon.
Approximately 20 exhibitor spaces are available. Each paid Exhibitor Fee includes one complimentary meeting registration and a skirted 8ft. table. Please let us know if you need electricity for your exhibit.
Setup will begin at 7am Sunday morning. All exhibits must be removed Tuesday afternoon by 5pm.
Exhibit material can be shipped to our office and will be delivered for setup.

Sponsorship Levels
Golden Palmetto (For pledges of $2,500 or more). Contributors will be recognized in the final program, will be included on sponsor signs, will receive public recognition during the meeting and will be invited to send two people to the partnership luncheon. Golden Palmetto sponsors are also entitled to exhibit space if desired.
Silver Palmetto (For pledges of $1,000 or more). Contributors will be recognized in the final program, will be included on sponsor signs, will receive public recognition during the meeting and will be invited to send one person to the partnership luncheon.
Bronze Palmetto (For pledges of $500 or more). Contributors will be recognized in the final program, will be included on sponsor signs and will be invited to send one person to the partnership luncheon.
Green Palmetto (For pledges of $100 or more). Contributors will be recognized in the final program and will be invited to send one person to the partnership luncheon.

Registration will be open from noon until 6pm Saturday in the Hilton lobby for those arriving early.
The Registration Desk will open Sunday morning at 9am at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
Exhibitor Registration Fee - $600 + $200 for each additional person
